Structure: The canvas appears original, unlined and sturdy. The work is stretched and framed. Surface: On close inspection, there are stretcher marks visible in the extremities of the work, where the canvas has been stretched. There is also a light network of craquelure along the right edge of the work, visible on close inspection. Please note, the sides of the work is covered in black cloth tape. This exempting, the work is in very good and stable condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no clear signs of restoration or repair.
